Last year at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival, Well Go USA Entertainment acquired the North American distribution rights for Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson’s (Resolution, Spring) new sci-fi/horror indie The Endless. The film will have a platform theatrical release this March, soon followed by digital and home video releases. Ahead of this release, Entertainment Weekly has unveiled the official theatrical poster for The Endless from artist Brandon Schaefer.
“We somehow finagled our way into getting Brandon Schaefer, the genius behind the Mondo poster for our last movie Spring, to create our theatrical poster for The Endless,” the film’s directors described to Entertainment Weekly. “The result is this mesmerizing, colorful, epic beauty we just can’t stop staring at. We hope you all feel the same way about the poster, and also the movie itself when it sits in front of you on a gigantic, gorgeous, bright, loud theatre screen in March.”
Apart from their writing-directing duties, Moorhead and Benson also star as the lead brothers in The Endless; their characters ‘return to the death cult from which they fled a decade ago, only to find that there might be some truth to the group’s otherworldly beliefs.’
Tate Ellington, James Jordan, Shane Brady and Kira Powell also star.
And one piece of advice from Vampire Squid: those who had the opportunity to see The Endless last year have called the film’s trailers very “spoiler-y”, so perhaps steer clear!
The Endless will be appearing in theatres from the 23rd March 2018.
