Last week we reported that Rhys Wakefield and Ray Fisher had joined the cast of True Detective Season Three, and today we have further casting news regarding HBO’s anthology series.
According to Deadline, Sarah Gadon and Emily Nelson will join cast-mates Mahershala Ali (Moonlight) and Carmen Ejogo (Selma) as Elisa Montgomery and Margaret respectively.
Nelson is perhaps best known for her recurring role as Hannah on the hospital drama Code Black, whereas Gadon recently appeared in the critically acclaimed Alias Grace, an adaptation of the Margaret Atwood novel of the same name.

Gadon’s performance in Alias Grace was one of its many highlights, with the Canadian actress managing to add a much needed layer of mystery to the character, so it will be interesting to see how she fares alongside actors such as the Oscar-winning Ali.
Also starring in True Detective Season Three are Stephen Dorff (Blade), Scoot McNairy (Godless) and Mamie Gummer (Side Effects).
