Stephen King Reads First Chapter of New Book ‘If It Bleeds’

Some good news to see us through the dismal Spring of 2020 comes as Stephen King treats us to a reading of the first chapter from his new book If It Bleeds.

As he addresses the audience in the run up to the reading, which is shot in his own home, he already has us hooked with his attire and his thoughtful reminder to stay safe in the current climate.

King’s excitement is infectious as he explains how his fan-favourite character, Holly Gibney from The Outsider and Mr Mercedes trilogy, will also be featuring in the book.

The book has been described as:

“…four new and compelling novellas – Mr. Harrigan’s Phone, The Life of Chuck, Rat, and the title story If It Bleeds – each pulling you into intriguing and frightening places.”

The video opens with “From the world’s most trusted story teller”, which is a well deserved honour for such a consistent and influential horror master.
